for guys running 22.5 big rig setup....

ok, i'm loving my 22.5 conversion, but as of late, something has come up and is really beginning to bug me. the center moon caps on the front wheel are beginning to "click". it is very annoying and a bit embarrassing. is there a good quick fix to this? is it maybe because they are a cheap part and i need to order a better quality/brand one? or is this just how these things are? i never heard anyone mention this before and i need ideas to get rid of this unwanted noise....i know it's not a major issue, but it does bug me. and is there a special tool to pop the caps off to expose the inner 8 lug nuts? it looks like the only way to remove them is to pry them off which could damage or marr them or the wheel itself....?????

you should be able to pop them off with a screwdriver, then spread the clips that hold them on, sounds like one is loose on the cap itself.

Ya, there should be area to fit a small flat head screwdriver into.

If not, then call the people that sold you the wheels and ask them.
or the company that makes em'

thats what i was hoping...i was thinking if i can get the cover off(no keyway or slot to put screwdriver) i might be able to adjust the clips.......the clicking is very annoying.........but i do not want to damage covers or worse yet, the wheels.

Had the same problem once before. It's the clips holding the cap on that's your problem. Best thing is to use a very small screwdriver to pop the cover off. Just be careful and take your time so you don't scratch your wheel or cap. Spread the clips out some and reinstall. Make sure the clips are installed correctly on the cap before you pop it back in. Should tighten everything up.

Bringing back an old one. Darren B did that fix your issue, cause mine started yestarday OMG is it horribly annoying I cant stand it. Also wheres a cheap place to buy replacements. I called the local big truck tire shop and they thought I was from mars having 22.5s on a 1 ton. They just kept asking year and make of truck, morons. I guess I can call american force but Im sure I will pay a premium.
