Guage Mounts
Has anyone found a decent looking set up for two guages mounted in the dash, on the dash, or on the a-pillar in a 2003 2500? I don't particularly feature having to cut off the handle on the post and I have shift on the fly so there is no room in that area. Thanks.

Just ordered an SRT 10 pillar from Genos. Has a single gauge opening and is a factory part. Also ordered a dual Westach gauge for both EGT and Boost. Its an option vs looking for a mounting for two seperate gauges. I personally did not like any of the multi mounts out there.

Chief2,
Take a look in my photo gallery of the single pillar pod with the Westach combo gauge. I find it's very easy to read once getting use to the layout. MikeyB |

Thanks for the input. I was trying to cover exhaust temp and tranny temp. Is there any dual guages like that?

Where did you get your Westach gauge, and a ruff and tuff cost? I think Westach wanted $265 for the gauge plus more for the sending unit. Was your supplier cheaper?

I bought the Westach combo gauge and pillar pod from Geno's Garage. $199 for the gauge and $29.50 for the pod.
The Westach came with the thermocouple and Geno's throws in a boost bolt. The boost bolt replaces one of the intake manifold bolts so you don't have to drill for the boost pickup. MikeyB |
Mikeyb,
I was just looking at your gauge setup. Nice job. Nice and simple and clean. |
Hoot,
That's why I went with the Westach. Simple easy to read aircraft gauge. MikeyB |
