got some codes

0606
0647
2149

anyone know

I think the 606 is just a companion code
and the 2149 is an injector code pointing to my injector harness for the tst
but the 647 is a new one

codes

p0606 = Internal ECM Processor
p0647 = A/C Clutch Relay circuit high
p2149 = Fuel injector Group 2 supply voltage circuit

I got this from a thread in here. at the top "listing; Common FAQ- IE, ODBII, ODBIII; computer fault codes." I could not find it. I could scan it and send it somehow in you need.

Also wondering what some of these things might affect.

I'm getting P0633 and P0602. They are PCM and ECM programming errors. How will these affect my truck. I am currently experiencing a rough idle and possible injector miss. Could either of these be the cause? No intent to hijack but if someone knows where I cand find the info I would be greatly apreciative.

P0606 - TST detected (okay, actually an ECM Hardware error - but it's just something the TST trips from time to time. Supposedly TST's later versions don't trip this code. I'm running the later Twins program, and I've never seen it. I have seen it on my early single programmed unit)

P0647 - High voltage detected at A/C clutch relay. Relocate your TST ground from the battery to the dash frame inside the cab. This is discussed in the FAQ section of TST's website. I know it sounds bizarre, but it works. I had A/C compressor problems (would turn off intermittently), and solved them by relocating this ground.

P2149 - As you said, this is a problem with the injector harness - the ECM thinks something's shorted out.

P0050 - This means your ECM is suffering from multiple personality disorder... it thinks it's controlling a gas engine. P0050 is an oxygen-sensor-related code.

C0101 - This sounds like an instrument cluster code. If you got this by holding the odometer button down while cycling the ignition key, it refers to an airbag warning indicator output circuit shorted, and it occurred 1 key cycle ago (the first '01' is the code, the second '01' is number of key cycles since last detected)

As to the P0602 and P0633 errors, P0633 means the security code for the Sentry Key system isn't programmed (ignore this if you don't have a Sentry Key - thick gray plastic handle on the ignition key). P0602 is an ECM checksum error - meaning it wasn't flashed properly. Have you been using a programmer? If so, revert back to stock, and try programming again.

Tom488-thanks for the info. I do have the Sentry Key so is this something I need to take in to the dealer to deal with? Never seen either of these codes before I left a bunch of electronics on for a week and my battery went dead. Could this have caused these issues? Also where do you get all the data on what may have caused the code.

Just got back from a local Cummins Mechanic (Non-dealer) plugged in the laptop did a full system scan (same as what was apparently done a week ago at the dealer) and got a P0122 code which is apparently Boost sensor failure. May be causing the error in the ECM, explains the loss in performance and poor fuel economy. I wil try the reload though and see if it changes anything.

I was there for three hours today and the guy never charfed me a cent, didn't try to sell me nothing and said go to dodge and get one on warranty. Not many people would do that anymore. I said when I do some upgrades I will be back!

If you want to run the cummins diagnostics code reader and have a laptop with a OBD cable this program from cummins may help. I have not tried it yet as I just found it this evening. I will post my findings.

Cummins provides DC with the hookup for the ECM from what I understand so far. If you want to spend the cash you can get ti INSITE program for a yearly subscription fee and the Inline 4 or 5 modules are between $250 and $300 from cummins. I am still researching. I figure if the pimple face kids in the service department ca read a computer so can I.

Further to this point, the heavy duitymechanic that I took my truck to (Non-dealer) could read my codes with the program and links that he purchased from Cummins. He says that he can get more detailed information as to what is causing the codes that our code readers ar picking up. This is how he diagnosed the boost sensor problem.

I'm sure that some of the truck racers and sled pullers have a method of getting into the system without going to dodge.

Question Codes popping up on work truck

My work truck has been not wanting to start since Tuesday Evening and it has shown the following codes. I googled what they mean but it still doesn't explain why they would be showing up when trying to start the truck.

P0217 - Coolant Temp Too High
P0480 - Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit / Open ( Low Speed Fan Relay )
P0483 - Cooling Fan Speed
P0521 - Oil Pressure Sensor Performance / Rationality

Can someone explain what these codes mean. Truck will not start at all, have tried daily to get it started
