Got a programmer? What setting you run?
Just curios, if you have a programmer, (be it a SMARTY, BD or whatever) what setting do you run in normal day to day driving?
My last tank of fuel in town I tried my "stock" setting to see what kinda mileage I can get out of it (21 mpg CDN). Then I went on a fishing/camping trip and went to the "tow/economy" mode" and tried keeping my revs down towing the trailer to see what kinda mileage I could milk out of it (16 mpg CDN)
Been back in town 2 weeks and am still running in the tow mode, but if my mileage was better "stock" I'll probly just keep it on that.
Normally I leave the BDTD hooked up so I can change the settings on the fly but a while ago I was parked in a bit of a 'seedy' area and stashed the programmer and IPOD out of view, that was a week ago and it's still hidden and I'm getting used to driving with the reduced HP.
Now I'm wondering if maybe I've wasted a bunch of money on all my performance goodies¿?...
… or is it just a stage I'm going through?

I imagine that's calculated?
I've noticed when I run CL my overhead shows I'm getting GREAT mileage but not so when I figure it out.
I also find when I run CL I have to be very conscious not to lug it at all or I get too much smoke, like if I take a corner in 4th I'll have a ton of black smoke...

and i can get some pretty good smoke on CL if i lug it as well, especially in the warm weather.

I run the bullydog with crazy larry 2.4.d all the time. I rarely turn it down other than towing my white boat so it doesn't turn into my black boat. The overhead goes crazy and says upwards of 26-28 mpg but calculated is closer to 16 or 17 usually. What did the reflash for your trip computer consist of Chipmonk, like what did it change?
it brought it a lot closer to what the actual numbers are. before the re-flash, my overhead could be reading around 24-26 mpg when i was actually getting around 20. now it usually reads around 21-21.5, when i'm actually getting 20-20.5, and i don't get any crazy fluctuations when i run CL.

dr performance predator (#2118) module rated @ 120hp/220tq (ha, thats a joke in itself!) and a PPE excelerator.
module is on and non adjustable. PPE is on level 3 of 4. love it. getting 20mpg. and just quick enough to light em up @ will.

I run the TNT on #7-TM2-RP2-TQ3-Shift defuel on-Wastegate off and My Quad X2 on either 1 or 2. This got me almost 21 1/2 MPG on a 600 mile road trip awhile back, hand calculated. In town I can't say what the MPG's are. It's still to fun to drive around to care
