I second that opinion, I have not ever heard one bad thing about Goerend trannys or converters. And as for Dave himself, I don't think anyone could ever ask for a more straight up honest person to deal with. And his warranty is for real. I know of a guy who was about 300 miles from his shop and a cooler line broke or something wierd like that after they had put in a tranny and Dave sent a tow truck to go get the truck and fixed it for free. I don't think any of the other good tranny companies would do that, Dave really goes the extra mile, and then another mile. I will always be a loyal customer to Goerend. They have a excellent product, great price, and unmatched service.

I could go on for pages about how good Dave has been to me....but I'll spare you. I stripped an input shaft on a Thursday evening, I had the truck back on the road by Sunday (on his dime). I'm in CA and he's in IA. Told him I didn't like the way my VB was shifting, he sent me another one on his dime. Had problems with lock up, he sent me a TPS (my dime, but WAY cheaper than I can get it around here).

Trans runs 50* above ambient empty, 70-80* above ambient towing 11K.

Works like a Swiss watch.....

Haven't heard anything bad myself....

I have heard that if you say your only going for 400hp and you end up with 550hp and you break stuff, he won't have any sympathy for you. But thats reasonable to me!

I could not be any happier with my DTT and the service I have been provided with James Northum's DTT shop. I blew a transducer and was back in service in 12 hours at no cost to me! My flex plate broke and within 24 hours James was personally headed with my way with his flatbed trailer...keep in mind this guy had back surgery a month ago! I'm James Northum/ DTT loyal

I have done a bunch of trannies for local guys, all of them are built to Dave's "specs" and using his parts---Everybody has been thrilled with them. Dave is the absolute best. His triple disc is awsome.
