gages
so i have it narrowed down to MBRP cat back and a mild intake. i am thinking the AFE stage II will be to much as i do not plan on a chip. would there be a better intake for someone not wanting the wild hq and tq increases? also what about gages with just the MBRP and mild intake? i only pull about 5k pounds but may at sometime go up to about 7k pounds. last question do i need a "resonator" with the MBRP cat back or does this come with the muffler?
thanks,

With the exhaust , its a mater of what you like , start with the least , then add till you like it .
The gauges are to help you monitor the running or ruinning of the eng. get a full set , but with out any discription of truck its hard to tell what you need ,
24v needs fuel pressure to watch lift pump , so it doesn't take out the VP pump,
if you have an auto trans then a temp gauge is in order ,
but with everything you should have a boost & exhaust temp to help to keep it at peek performance.

With my few minor mods, my truck runs like a scalded dog...I'll probably get a Quad whenever I get taller tires, but the tax man took my tire money
I dont have plans to go crazy in the HP dept, but I do plan to tow heavy...I dont tow often, but when I do, its heavy, and I plan to get even heavier very soon....My MBRP and BHAF is plenty for me....I do plan on getting gages after I recover from the tax-man beating....

Volant makes a good intake thats considerably cheaper than the afe. Try out the mbrp without the resonator first (I love mine) Then add the resonator if is too loud. The only gauge you "need" is egt, But a full set of gauges would be a good idea (ie. egt, boost, & trans temp)
