fuel snubber
The subber goes between the fuel guage & your source for fuel pressure. I had to throw my snubber away and get a needle valve. The snubber is not adjustable and I was still getting sever vibration in the guage. A needle valve stopped it right away.
the purpose of the snubber is to protect you electric sender. install the snubber before the sender!
by the way did autometer send you a brass or stainless steel snubber?? i prefer the stainless. they charge the same price for either!! i prefer not to use brass because it is such a soft metal-easier to strip the threads, etc when tightening.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

My fuel gauge was buzzing, no matter what I did, so I made my own snubber. Removed the straight fitting between the banjo fitting at the pump and the fuel line. Found a piece of aluminum that would just fit inside and cut off a piece about 1/4" long and drilled a 1/16" hole thru it. Then stuck this inside the fitting and used two pin punches (one in the vice) to swell it to a tight fit inside the fitting. Continued hammering reduced the 1/16" hole to a pin *****. Reinstalled the fitting. No more noise from the gauge and it works perfectly. About 15 minutes work total.
