Fuel rail pressures?

I see alot of posts concerning rail pressures, but I've never seen anyone set a baseline as to what is actually safe and what is not. Can anyone give me an idea of exactly what you want to see and what you don't want to see as far as these pressures go. And while I'm at it, does anyone make a gauge or know of a way to monitor these?

With stock injectors 23,000 takes it to the limit if you want them to last. A good aftermarket injector can handle more but not after 27k. Any good diesel performance seller can get you a Di-pricol Rail Presure gauge.

As for monitoring, I have the Quad commander with fuel pressure kit & love it.

Going down the road I see 25-27k with the pressure box one. At idle I see anywhere from 8.5-11k. I have Flux 3.3 injectors.

You want it to maintain 20k at WOT. Anything less, and you are losing power. As far as limits, there are varying opinions. I ran 25-26k through my stock injectors for quite a while. They key is to have a secondary filter set up that filters down to 2 microns. Thay way everthing flows through the injector tip without a problem. I know of a truck that runs 30k and has spiked as high as 33k.
