Fuel Rail possibly dry??

I read in a previous post, when the rail gets dry it makes a sound like a jakebrake. Well pulling only 6k up a very steep grade, I started to hear that noise and when I let off the pedal it would stop. I've noticed this before on the same mountain pass but didn't think much of it. Pretty sure its not the turbo as I baby the heck out of it.
So, my question is, if I need a new lift pump(mine is still filter mounted @ 106,xxx on the clock)do I go with an AirDog, GDP or can I get away with just the Raptor pump. Not much performance is gonna change in the near future, I just need something that will help with what I got already!! Also I have no fuel pressure gauge but, hopefully ordering the Quad RP Gauge soon.

TIA

Yea just a PowerPup that is always on the tow tune. I've had all injectors replaced 10k miles ago.

Well most likely I will order my Quad RP/FP gauge tomorrow here from DTR and if I find the problem as the lift pump, what are the pros/cons of systems like GDP vs. just a raptor pump?

I just did the Airdog 100 on my truck. Pump is quiet, price is good,3 micron filtration. Now with lifetime warrenty.
The install was a piece of cake. No need to drop the tank with the Airdog 100. The airdog 150 you do have to drop the tank. Easy choice for me.
