I am looking into purchasing the Fluidamper Balancer for my truck and am curious as to who has tried these..

Was it worth the cash??

What benefits did you see from it??

 

I have a 6 speed with a dual disc clutch and it really smoothed out the tranny noise and vibes that the clutch makes worse.

 

I had a DD installed a while ago. The noise and vibration led me to purchase a Fluidampr. What a huge difference! It took out most of the noise and vibration caused by the DD clutch.

Now that i'm back to running a single disc, I can't say it does anything. Maybe idles a bit smoother than before, but no smoother than an automatic truck.

I talked with my mechanic who installed one on an auto truck. He said he couldn't tell if it made a difference. He ran it on the dyno before and after the install and it made no difference in hp either (one of their claims).
