Flo Pro Muffler ?

I have a Flo Pro 4" exhaust on my 04. It is more or less a straight pipe with one of their twister mufflers. My wife took over the Dodge and she and my neighbors have had enough LOL. I need to make it quiet again. Can some recommend a stock sounding muffler to replace the twister ? Flo Pro ? Donaldson etc ?

Nothing is going to be as quiet (or restrictive) as the factory muffler. I've done numerous exhaust changes on my '03 and to date the quietest set-up is my latest one by far. It's an (old) MBRP set up with a Grand Rock resonator (9" round x 18" long x 4" in/out) attached directly to the MBRP muffler. Very nice tone and it actually quiets down at highway speeds. That set up is far more quieter than the 51" Dynaflex muffler I just took off of it.

That's my experience but a lot of folks here will tell you that the Donaldson is the way to go.

Look at a Nelson/Fleetguard 86131m, 4" in and out, straight through, with no baffle, near stock sound and no drone. This muffler is huge, about 51" long, but it fit my SB with cat installed.
Good luck John

I talked to Flo Pro and they told me to run one of there 24" mufflers with the twister. They want like 200 bucks for a muffler though. I wonder if i just get a 24" Donaldson and run that behind the twister. I'm sure its just as good as the Pro Flo ?

Just my .02 but I would think that anything muffler wise that's insulated would do quite well as far as deadening the noise. The 51" Dynaflex that I removed was completely free flowing...as in zero insulation....and the 24" insulated MBRP muffler (included with my resonator as mentioned previously) is wayyyyyy quieter!!!!!

I had a flo pro max -twister ,that thing was restrictive,if you want to quiet it down a resonator in front off the down pipe will really help,i have a 24 inch Fte res and a 24 inch magnaflow straight thru and can actually order food thru a drive thru and hear myself talk.

I'll try that. I'll order a Donaldson 24 and put it behind my 17" Twister. Should help.
