I just installed a 8 ' fisher MM2 snowplow, question is which battery is the correct battery to install my power for the plow, right now I am installed on the passenger side battery and everything works but is this ok or will it get more power from the drivers battery ,, thanks in advance

I don't think it will matter. Wouldn't both be able to supply the same amount of juice? Otherwise you end up with an unbalanced system. Am I missing something?

Not sure if it matters either, but when the plow dealer installed my Western, they hooked everything up to the drivers side battery.

Both batteries are "electronically" equal. As the system draws power it will pull amperage from both batteries at the same time. The only time you will have an issue is if one of your batteries has a dead cell and is weaker than the other. In this case, the weak battery will fall off faster than the healthy one causing a majority of the load to be covered by batt 2. This will at times cause premature battery failure on batt 2 due to the over stressing of charge/discharge cycles.

It does not matter which one you hook to. They are both connected together with the heavy gauge "hot" wire that runs over top of the radiator
