fire extinguisher

I saw one of those $500 ricers the other day that had an auto zone tailpipe and a fire extinguisher on the pillar. Thought it was kinda funny. Everyone here has $30,000 trucks but no fire extinguisher on the pillar. Whats the deal guys? I know that some of yall have thought about it!

Well you figure the truck is about 3 times the size, weight, so you'd need around a 20lb fire extingisher mounted up there. Now I'm not sure but I don't want a 20 pounder falling on me while off roading (since this truck is used). I mount mine under the front seat, easy to use. Ever notice how most mount them on the passenger side? how the heck are you gonna reach it if you need it?

I probably should put on in my truck, you know, just in case. I do have one in my Jeep... but mount beside the seat. I had it mounted to the roll bar but someone decided it would be funny to discharge it all over the inside one summer, then throw the empty through the windshield. I guess drunks (college town) couldn't resist a bright red fire extinguisher in plain view on a Jeep
