Final say on 22.5's or 19.5's need your help
It would be a done deal if I had a manual trans, but I dont. I will call the dually stop when I have cash in hand in a few weeks and see if they can help me out. I just cant get out of my head the ride I took in a ford with 22.5's and how slow it was. But he had no performance adders, Im a little different.

I think the 22.5s just remind me of a semi and thats awesome. I like big wheels on the duallys. I think the 19.5s are kind of old school now. I not slamming anyones trk either. I would go big but thats my thoughts. everyone dogs on me for running 20" wheels on my single wheel trk but I like they way they look. I think wheels make the looks of a truck
Wheel adapters are not a great idea. As if unit-bearing front hubs weren't bad enough all by themselves. Plus they are like $800
I don't see how the prices could be the same as 19.5's tires are cheaper.
IMO Bolt on 19.5's for Rickson or Brentz Wheels (Rickson and Brentz work with each other) are the only way to go.
Also keep in mind that the larger wheels have more rotating mass and will kill your brakes with you drive hard.
Just my two cent
BTW. Yes you can buy bolt on 19.5 from the junkyard for SRW and DRW if you know where to look. I've already got 3 sets.

Aparantly one of the threads where crossed in the later stages of development we really had no idea until a recent oil change and that is when we realized the poor guy is handicapped but should be able to live a good life just got a job at Wal-Mart.
The real question is where they retared when we bought them or did they just turn out retared after all abuse we did to them?

Youll love this one, I called a local lift/performance shop to see if I get the 22.5's if he would know where to get them balanced and mounted. I even told him Id drop it for the day and to price it worth his while. He said no, and the only 22.5's he would mount would have to come with special billet adapters from some company in California. So I played along and said how much, you ready $9200.00
. So I tell him hes lost it. He proceeds to tell me his buddy the tow truck driver has towed 2 duallys in the last 6 weeks that the adapters have broken and the tires flew off, and tries to give me the guys #. I said no Im good. Another place that does custom rims wants me to buy them from them and they will take care of everything, I guess I can understand but Im starting to get a little frustrated. So I call a diesel shop local where I know the guys, and they have done one set and no matter who they take it too it still has a horrible vibration while driving.
I did my research and a 19.5" with a 245/70/R19.5 with a G124 is 33" tall and 86Lbs.
While a 22.5" with a 255/70/R22.5 with a G164 is 37" tall and 97 lbs.
Please help me out cause Im dumb. I know the retarded adapters are heavy but for 4" taller tire thats only 11lbs heavier but I get the look I want, to me its a no brainer. I thought the difference would be huge but 600-700LBS on a big diesel truck who cares!
Of corse as I said Im dumb so Im sure Im missing something, but if I can find someone to balance and align 22.5's I may have to get them.
Oh yeah, but the first guy had no issue putting a Lorenz Bilstien 5100 kit on the truck. Yeah I think Ill drive by after I get it all done by someone else.

The tires are close to the same weight.
The wheels and adapters are where the extra beef comes in. Each adapter and lugs weighs about 30 lbs. My aluminum 22.5 Freightliners weigh 55 each.
So by using direct bolt 19.5s, you can drop 120 lbs.on those "retarded" adapters alone.
Rickson's 19.5 bolt ons will save another 30 per corner.
Rickson's and tires will cost you 5-6K.......and so will the 22.5 combo
Either way, you are adding more weight.
I think American Force wheels are too narrow to run a decent sized 19.5.
How often do we see someone with a SRW complaining about the 37's that weigh 90 lbs. each?
Have your alignment done BEFORE the wheels are installed.
Talk to some truck alignment shops about balancing on the truck. Mine were computer balanced and are almost perfect. I will have the fronts balanced on the truck.

Rye - Take your wheels and tires to a semi truck tire repair shop, they will mount and speed balance them. Thats what I did.... Silky smooth up to 90mph so far :-) but there still retarded
