Well, after a long time of wanting to go I finally went today. Pretty happy with the results. BUT, if I could have got better traction I would have been in the 12s. Temps were in the upper 50s all day= no grip!

Yeah, it was my first time there. Nice place. I was going to throw out a feeler in the chapter to see if anyone might want to meet out there today but it was kinda last minute. I don't think there was anything there today that was running higher than an 11. So, I was kinda on my own. There was even a Dodge Omni (picture a Yugo in your head) that ran a 10.8.

 

NADM had a diesel only drag race meet there in Crandall in October. It was fun and I got to run a few times. It just opened so they were still working out a few hiccups, but should be a great place for future events.

Jump on the TX DTR #8 board sometime and let us know when you plan to go back. It might work out, or maybe not, but doesn't hurt to ask. I think I have found the limits of my heavy beast until I get a turbo and some sticks. And those aren't likely for a few months either since im getting married in the near future...
