FASS adjustability

Why is there no need to adjust the preassure on the fass? Or I suppose the better question is why would want the ability to adjust it like some other brands. I would assume it would be a set and forget type of thing.

I thought you could change it if you wanted...just add some regulator spring shims and the PSI goes up...but I am pretty sure they set it to a psi that is plenty high for our trucks..so maybe that's why it says no need to adjust????

Your air dog is easily adjustable though right? Why?

My AD is adjustable the same way the FASS is...with regulator spring shims..I think that is a easy way to adjust..but the even easier way is how the raptor adjusts..maybe some day AD's will be the same way???

But are there any downsides to having it spit out a selected preassure or all the way up if it just recircs back to the tank? Why wouldnt you want full preassure I guess Im asking?

the higher the psi the less GPH...VP trucks cant have high psi other wise they get a hard start thing going on...I dont think our CR trucks care to much about higher PSI??
my guess is 15-20psi is good for most trucks so they pre set them to that psi??
I guess 60psi is not any good if your not flowing the volume...the lower psi gets the job done and has plenty of volume...
someone correct me if I am wrong

You are correct.....

Even though we have bigger pumps that are designed for high pressure and volume......it would be way overkill for pretty much any VP application.

Thoes pumps do well for 12V guys and guys that want higher pressure to Stage "X" CP3 pumps.....
