Any module or programmer I have seen, warns of possible damage caused by the extra power. All they have to do is put a warning before you can download. I haven't heard of bullydog, smarty or diablo paying out because some yahoo destroyed his stock transmission. YOU play ,you PAY.

Send Superchips this link and let them see what diesel owners think of their stalling tactics. (Especially the guys who have given up on them.)

Just a heads up, guys. Superchips is owned by MSD, who also owns Edge Products. Ergo, no hurry for Superchips to make a higher power tuner, as they already sell one, branded EDGE

I talked to a superchips customer service rep today and he said that the Extreme tune was put on hold with no real plans for releasing it.

I may be totally blowing smoke on this whole thing. I would love to not have to buy another tuner. I have studs, injectors, turbos, etc. to dream about.

Thanx.

You guys are nucking futz!

If you have the need for speed, drop $10k on a liter sportbike, it will go way faster than any high perf. diesel you could ever build and save your truck.

True, nothin' is like a fast sportbike. After my 2nd kid I sold my 1200 Bandit. But, burnin' rubber in the family wagon is really friggin fun.

You might be in the wrong forum for that type of talk . But I cant haul my wife, dog, and friends on a sportbike, nor can it tow.

If I was you I would just bite the bullet and get a smarty and sell the sc. I actually sold my sc for more than I paid for it new off ebay. Now that superchips and edge put their foot down on selling prices you can't find one under $480 new. You might come out Ok unless you paid retail for the sc.
