Hi all...
Looking into new exhaust for my 07 mega 5.9...
I want it as quiet as possible (near stock levels) I just want to lower Egt's..
My buddy has a 5inch silverline turbo back system...It is much too loud for me..
Just looking to get a few ideas from you guys..

 

I cut my cat and stock muffler out of mine and put in an after market muffler on, i went with a louder type of one but there are quieter ones out there...it sounded just nice but i ended up cutting it out and straight piping it which i'm sure isn't what you'll want lol.

 

I put on a donaldson, cause eveyone says it sounds like stock. On my truck, its a lot louder than stock (now that i am use to it I kinda like it).

maybe its my truck, maybe its the muffler, but no egt difference either.
