Exhaust Extention

Could anyone help this old man find a reasonable priced exhaust extention for my 2005 - 3500.I want one that points down to the pavement.

I can't believe that Dodge would make the darn original pipe so short you have exhaust muck to wipe off your truck all the time. I guess I should have bought a BLACK TRUCK instead of white.

Oh, also any idea what take's the MUCK smoke smudge off the best?? I tried my wife and she told me to go STICK IT.

Dealer has them for 78 bucks, I am not cheap but the last exhaust extention I bought was 2.99 for a 55 chev 6 cyl. I think a fair and reasonabled price for a 4" exhaust pipe angled and about 12" should be 19.99

OK - I'll be watching for some helpful information while I sit in my ARCHIE BUNKER CHAIR OOOOOO THANK YOU MEN

Many Diesel Shops will have turn downs. Check the venders on this site. Most are just clamp or weld on. Get a size at least 1 inch bigger than you exaust. I like turn downs, but stacks are way better.

As for Diesel soot. I was semi trailers on the weekends for extra cash, we just use degreeser. If it can take off caked on Semi soot it will take off anything. Good luck with the truck!

no truck shops around here will work on pick up trucks. not worth thier time

i'd try NAPA or truck stops.

Hemlockusa,

Gte something that will last made out of 304 stainless, chrome will get chipped by rocks and start to rust pretty fast etc. Check round site Sponsors like us have various tips that will work for you.

I have a turn-down tip on my truck and I bought it from bigexhaust.com

Click on the "tips" link on the left side of the page and then click on "Gibson"

Towards the bottom of the page and there is no picture, but I sure am happy with the way mine looks.
