what are you currently running on the truck? If you have a stock cp3 on the truck at this time, all you need to do is use one of those pumps.

If a belt is shredded, can we still put on a stock belt via the OEM belt routing and run off of one CP3 (CP3 in OEM location)?

If yes, how would the ECM read the rail pressure? Will the rail pressure be read indirectly via the rail filling up and then back feeding into the high pressure line from the 2nd CP3?

yes you can run it with a stock belt in place driving one pump and yes the pressure sensor will still read pressure at that location. It will do just as you stated. It will pressurize that chamber by backfilling it.

Also, I have gotten a lot of guys stating that they would purchase a kit if they could locate a second pump. We do have someone that we have used in the past that has supplied us with numerous pumps for the BETA testing of this. The pumps are used and the price is very good.

Lary, not sure if I am allowed to put in a plug for someones pumps or not. if there is anything wrong with that, just let me know and I will remove it.

Lloyd

I was the first guy out there that I know of to have dual cp3s on a common rail dodge

Joe the owner of PPE here in california , used my truck from the start of his development of the dual cp3 kit for the dodge cr well over 2 years ago

for PPE I know this was not an easy project to complete there was a ton of time and testing fabricating etc before PPE could finally be able to release the twin pump kits to the public or distributers.

I can say that after 24,000 + hard miles I have never had any problems ever to report on the dual pumps

the PPE dual cp3 kit works perfect & the fit & finish is outstanding IMO PPE / Joe did an excellent job on the kit.

all I can say is WOW your kit looks very nice here and it's sure being offered at unbelievable pricing !

people don't realize there is a lot of time and work involved with putting together a kit like that.

congratulations Lloyd for a job well done
it's also nice to see the pricing being offered at a rate that a working guy can afford !

any one considering a modded pump should get money wise and go for the dual cp3 kit , they do work great & reliability with the stock pumps has been excellent.

the kit Lloyd is showing sure looks good & it's a money wise performance bargain !.......

What is the "technical" difference in our pumps and the DSNAX?

I have been thinking about adding a DSNAX pump as well.......... any real difference in

2 DSNAX pumps vs 2 of ours vs the stock CP3 and adding a DSNAX??

a lot of people seem to feel that the dmax pump flows more volume than the cummins version. I have never checked personally to confirm it, Either way, with dual pumps there is no real need to worry about fuel flow. You will have plenty.

can you tell me how much fuel pressure you would need to run a stage 2 cp3 and another stock pump as a dual setup? would the glacier comp system support enough or do I need a bigger fuel system to run dual pumps? thanks for any help

the glacier system will not support duals over ~725 hp. Once that level is reached you will either need to add another Walbro into the plumbing, or go to a bigger fuel pump. I personally ran 25 psi for the longest time with this system at idle and had the pressure boost referenced so that the fuel pressure would rise with boost
