Well, it seems like I remember Larry (I think) posting on the thread claiming that ETR was not a site sponsor. I think it's safe to say that if they were, this thread would have been shut down already.

 

Looks like I made someone mad on a quick type up. I didn't know I was in english class on this forum. I was in a hurry and in a pretty bad mood at the time.

Go read most of my post, I would bet you can find at least 1 improper thing in all of them. We are here to learn and educate others on our TRUCKS, not on how we spell or use periods and such. If someone wrote a post and spelled every word wrong no one here would care. Dont know about he rest of you but, I understude every word, oops I think I spelled that wrong

 

Just for the record, the post was about poor customer service, not poor grammar. Let's confine our discussion to the topic at hand.

We do have some control over which ads hit our site, even those that are on a random rotation from Google but I believe it's an area that Jack has to deal with and I believe it's a pain to deal with. There has been a thread or two about these folks and if it was pulled it probably was for bashing comments. They have demonstrated a lack of customer care based on the experiences I've seen posted.

 

In my experiences, etr has had no problem with the initial shipment of items ordered. I did have a very bad problem trying to get refunded for a computer module I purchased from them. After talking to several different people including the owner (geoff), I finally had to get VISA to reimburse me for the charges. Luckily I had the packages I returned signed for, and all the transaction history to back everything up. I will never do business with ETR again. I have had good luck with Industrial injection, Dynomite diesel, TST products, and Jetpilot (Performance Diesel Warehouse).

 

No at the current time they are not a sponsoring vendor, but I am closing it down anyway because again you guys are just trying to turn it into a bashfest of a vendor.

We do not like threads like this because it is NOT fair. All we get are one side of a story and since the vendor is not a DTR sponsor they can not reply here to defend themselves.

There are other websites that love this Jerry Springer drama stuff, so if this is the kind of thread you wish to read, you won't have any difficulty finding them elsewhere
