GDH, the bullydog outlook monitor displays rail pressure and fuel pressure. Might want to look into that. It's also known that the back cylinders are hotter, it's possible your proble location isn't as hot as others.

What can be checked on the truck to find out if I am not getting enough fuel to the injectors. I run a FASS, with the BDPP and Banks Six-Gun. I cannot get more than 1000 degrees on the EGT guage even towing. It is almost like the truck is governed. The guage and probe were switched out once before with new ones. Any suggestions?
Could you provide contact info on Tim Holt? Tks.

Get on a dyno and do some runs....that will one of the only ways to see where the mystery defueling is occuring. If you are running that cool with a stock turbo, power must not be where you think it is.

CA SO so my runs cool to begin with. I have an exhaust and intake mod.

At 70 mph my temp would be around 630 (pre turbo) with the two mods above.

Added an ez and my truck ran around 550 at 70mph. Saw temps of 1100 climbing out of death valley (temps were 115 then) and going at a fast rate (don't remember the mph though).

With BD downloader installed its runs at 530 at 70mph but I only had this for several weeks.

I have an xmonitor for a gauge.

gdh11, I think we have both just come up w/ a good combo of mods for our particular trucks. I have my probe mounted in front of the number 4 cylinder and I figure that it may be 100 degrees cooler than the back 2 cylinders. It's still not bad.
Just because ours run cooler than some of the others here, doesn't mean our trucks are wrong! Maybe those guys with hot trucks should look at what we've done and try to do the same..

Ive been wondering about the same thing
Ive had a tst on 3/2 could never get over 1100
banks on 6 w speed loader couldnt get over 1000
now running without anything ,temps are the same

both set ups had loads of power, even more than I could use at times, and never getting hot

I just wonder if these dipricol egt gauges are accurate

im at 550 cruising down the highway empty

to me it seams way low for the power ive put out (feels better than my 02 with pm3 and dd2's)

my boost was 28 psi max with the banks
and would shoot past 34 briefly with the tst then settle on 32

My boost hits a wall at 30 psi and that's with the boost elbow. My guage is a Westach and is fairly new so I think it is accurate. It sounds like a bunch of us are worried for nothing.......

On my 01, before I put the comp on, I could hit 1250 pre turbo. After I put the comp on, I could barely crack 1000 going uphill at 100 mph. I had a BHAF and 4" straight pipe both times. Boost went from 19 to 35. My roommates 01 HO did the same thing. I think yall are ok.
