EGT warning light?

Can anyone tell me how a person could wire in a EGT warming light?

EGT is important enough in my opinion to require continuous monitoring. It's very useful to know your EGT at all times. In other words, install a guage instead of a warning light.

Ive got a gauge. I was wanting a light so if when my mom borrows the truck if she gets too into the skinny pedal she will notice a big azz red light coming on if it gets hot.

I have one on my truck, you can set it to de-fuel at any temp. Mine is set for 1200. You can not get it too hot.
I would bet other programers would do this too.

WOW...that's impressive! I'm usually having to tell my Mom to get the H out of everyone's way. Not, "ease out of it Mom..."

I agree with randallp84...teach her what to look for. Worst case senario, your getting a new turbo for Christmas from Mom!

I like the way you think. In that case, it might be more beneficial to remove the gauge.

My mom was getting sideways and smoking people out in MY truck before I even got my liscense. Lol now she drives a 2004 qclb with a single 6inch stack! Haha
