Edge Juice performance test results

Who's used this ? What were your results ?

Although this feature may or may not be accurate, my concern is with my results. I seem to be getting the same ET & trap speed, regardless of the power level setting. Results are always around 16.8 sec/81 mph. Slow, but I'm carrying around the aux tank and 5er hitch. No concrete bedliner though.

Well did you disable all backdown levels for your test?? If you are still set to defuel at boost, egt and have trans protect on then you will probably see high % of backdown while testing. Turn off backdown functions for a few minutes and then do the tests.

My old 04.5 2500 4x4 auto went 16.40 at 80 mph. This was BONE stock. Something's wrong somewhere. I mean, I understand the idea of all those features potentially pulling power out of the motor, but it ought to at least pick up a LITTLE in mph compared to a dead stock truck.

I dunno if your getting your reading at a track or from the Attitude...but I've heard that the Attitude isn't that accurate....a guy was running low 15's at the track and the attitude was saying mid to high 16's

Well, I just re-tested, and the results are bad

I just went out and ran some laps. Something's definitely wrong. Since it's windy today, I ran 1/4 mile up then 1/4 mile back and took the average.

Stock: 17.15 seconds @ 82 mph
Level 3: 17.35 seconds @ 81.5 mph
Level 5: 17.2 seconds @ 82 mph

I'm contacting Edge Products with my info.

Edge customer service asked me to send them the main unit and wiring harness. Has anyone else had their Edge unit fail like this ???

While i was running a 15.0@91 at the track, i did a performance test and it showed 16.1-16.3@89.

very incorrect. the juice will run a low 15 on a stock truck even with junk in the bed. i did it at 5000' above sea level.

The edge is back from the software update to v2.1. I've seen some improvements, but nothing like what I had hoped. Stock 1/4 mile runs at 17.2sec/82mph and level 4 runs 16.2sec/86mph. Haven't ran on level 5 yet.

When I bought the Edge Juice/Attitude, I was expecting more. The gauges and features are nice, but the performance seems to be lacking. There's no way I'm seeing the 100+ hp improvement that's been advertised.

Try adding an MP-8 with it for more power. I have not checked mine with a stop watch or track but my edge alone will read 14.6, with the mp-8 turned up moderately it will yeild about 14.2-4. I have had my trucks computer reprogrammed for the 35's but that shouldn't matter that much. Anyhow good luck with it.
