Edge Juice/Attitude vs. Banks Six-Gun w/Speedloader???

Alright....

i've been running the six-gun now for about 6 months now...and it seems to run ok. My only real complaints right now, is that when I hit the gas, it kinda has a slight dead spot, and that when I dyno'd the truck, the numbers were lower (387hp with the all of the mods) than say a 03 HO with a TST or the Bully Dog stuff or some of the other high hp boxes. The truck gets 18-19 mph consistently running 90% highway at 75-80.

I've come across a real screaming deal on a edge juice w/attitude...I mean screaming deal.

Curious as how it would run compared to the Banks Six-Gun??????

Any thoughts.......Thanks in advance!

Someone on here recently posted dyno numbers (past 4 weeks) and they picked up about 120HP at the rear wheel with the edge juice and attitude controller. Egt's fairly low also. Throw in the edge ez pressure box and you could pick up even more power.

The juice is a much simpler install and doesn't use pressure so to me those are two big pluses over the Banks six Gun.

Chime in edge juice owners

Well that HP (387) is about 115-125 HP over what most 325/600s are reporting stock dynos at. That seems to add up pretty close to the advertised Banks propaganda of 126HP with the SpeedLoader.

I have a Juice/Attitude that has been on for about two weeks. This unit does have a problem with monitoring tranmission lockup, but other than that seems to work ok. Edge is sending a replacement unit. I am a little disappointed at the actual power at level 4(Race Mode around 100HP I assume). Didnt seem to be much more power than level 3 (Drive Mode around 75HP). I wont try level 5 (Extreme Mode until trans upgrades, but at this point I dont think it will hurt it.

The two products seem to be pretty close to the same in HP/Torque. Banks seems to have a few more monitoring options and the Juice seems to have some performance testing available. Seems kinda like a trade off. I wont have a final opinion for about 6 weeks. New Juice/Attitude and TC/trans upgrades and then I will know. At that point I will get dyno results and track results.

I do know the Furd 250 SuperDuty 4x4 I ran last night had a Banks 6 Gun/SpeedLoader only. No exhaust or intake. Both my Juice at Level 4 and his Banks at level 4 we were about dead even, I lost a little at the lights(cant believe I didnt hook up with 315s). When he turned the Banks up to 6, he walked away and turned 14.78 1/4. Track times were in general slow because of weather conditions. So I am a little more impressed with Banks than I was before yesterday.

I recentley installed the Edge Juice with Attitude on my 2005. I am very pleased with the results. I have not seen the EGT go over 1300. Dyno results as follows:

Other wise stock 2005 600.

Stock - 272.47 H.P.

Lvl 3 - 353.15 H.P.

Lvl 4 - 371.92 H.P.

Lvl 5 - 399.10 H.P

Preformed 2/11/05 on Dynojet

Well I installed the Juice today.

The EGT's will hit 1400, where the Banks would top out at 1000 max
Boost will hit 38-40, Banks would stop at 34-35psi.

And it will blow the clutch much more than the Banks would.

Slip reading is at 9% on the clutch....(the Fe should be here this week)

Its smoother in town shifting with the Edge, rather than the Banks which drops the fueling when the boost drops between the shifts.

Can't wait to see how they run with the new clutch

Btw...the Six-Gun is listed in the classified section on this site for sale. Gonna try a couple of things, and the Banks is gonna be a limiting factor in the plan.
