Hello all. I have a few questions for you guys. I was in for an oil change at the dealer to day and had a chat with the service manager.

$1400 for jacobs E-brake installed. Does that sound good.

Next we talked about chips and warranties. He said no problem, has a edge chip on his truck. They will install the chip including the pryo prob for $100? Is that about right?

I am not looking for extra power, I pull a 6500lb travel tralier. I do want to get gauges(tranny temp, boost, EGT) and I am thinking the Edge would take care of the gauges and I would have the extra power if I wanted it. Where are you guys mounting the edge and how?

Next Edge or Quadzilla? pros and cons.

$1400 for the exhaust brake installed is a good price. I think most are charging closer to $1700.

As far as boxes go, I have the Quadzilla Xzillaraider Standard and love it. Used in conjunction with the Commander (I have one but its not installed yet - I'm waiting on the A-pillar mount to be finished) its a sweet setup. The Commander can also be used as a stand-alone (no box required) gauge set.

I can't comment on the Edge because I've never used one.

 

My Juice/Atttiude has been flawless, very smooth and nice power. Here is how I mounted mine. You may have to address other things like your lift pump and tranny/clutch depending on manual or auto. The Juice has a lot of built in safety features like fuel backdown for tranny slip, over boost, over egt limit, etc. It's a nice friendly low/moderate upgrade.

 

where in the world are you at and what dealer are you going to? im north of houston and would love to go to a dealer that would be a little mod friendly. thats awesome

Staarma, Thanks for the great photo. Did you have to paint the mount or is it color matched. Ya, I thought the service manager was great. It is a Lithia dealer here in Helena, MT.

 

Small world, I'm in Belgrade. It came grain and color matched. They also make them in the tan.

 

i payed 100 bucks for my juice installed. i would agree a hundred bucks is a good price.

 

 

What dealer is allowing you to install the Edge and KEEP the factory warranty???
