If you look up the Edge EZ on Edge's main website, for the EZD1000C it says "The EZ is also tuned with a special fuel economy level...". Which level is that? I know the unit has levels 0-4, and I assume that level 1 is the fuel economy level, but I'm not sure as I have not yet recieved my EZ in the mail and can't just do a mpg test.

Any clues?

I assume that will be level 1 (40hp). I usually ran my EZ at level 2 and didn't see a gain in fuel economy.

Why is it that everyone seems to have 4 position ez's and mine is a 3?

 

I had a EZ on a 03 Truck ran it on 3 60hp and got a solid 2.5 mpg increase. Hand calculated. But I drove like GP also

 

The EZ for '03-04 trucks have 5 levels. Off, 40, 50, 60 and 70hp settings. Have to open up the box to change the setting.

On my EZ, setting #1 is suppose to be the "fuel economy" setting, which is a load of crap at least in my experience. I never got any mileage outta my EZ, on any of the settings. Edge told me that they seen the most mileage from running it on the highest setting....take that with a grain of salt though.

The EZ is a great box for power....works awesome for stacking but I never saw any mileage gains.
