Drop blocks vs. End Links
Hey guys another question here. I have a DSS on my truck. The Kore HD Kit comes with drop blocks. Can i still use my DSS or do i need to get end links in order to still have a DSS?

Well heck, looks like I should have researched a little further before i pulled the trigger on the Kore HD kit. The drop blocks that come witht the kit will not work.
I have a few options
no drop blocks
1. End links $165
drop block options
2. New Difiant sector shaft $172
Man i wish i had paid closer attention. the budget leveling Kit has turned out to be not so much a udget item.

Well, scratch that. I just looked at the DSS design and it appears it will only work with longer links.
Use the drop blocks in the kit, buy the Defiant support and sell the DSS to recoup some of the cost.

The DSS I have is a Solid Steel product(DSS). Lazarsmith's(SSSSS) lowers the sway bar. Anyone want ot buy a used DSS, I got a good price on one. The End Links will be a little over 2 bills shipped.

hmm, I wonder it i put hte drop blocks between the DSS and frame and flip the bearing on the other side of the DSS. Of course that does not sound like all will be supported very well.
What are the draw backs from using drop blocks vs end links?
Dang, this is eating into my wheel and tire fund

Yeah, don't think I'd do that.
I'm sure you can get at least half your investment back if you sell the DSS. Takes a little of the hurt away.

yeah I found two more alternatives for the links as well. I didn't now Lazarsmith made them :P. Since Im gonna get bushings anyway, seems like a good place. I do have a call into Don to see what his are priced at.
I am wondering if I should have pulled the trigger on the kit or put that monay back and saved some more and got a better suspension all the way around.

The Armadillo Strainer (aka SSSSS) design incorporates drop blocks for the swaybar so the OEM endlinks can be used.
Additionally, we make our own much stronger adjustable endlinks (available in any length), so your front end won't get left behind!
p.s. 3rd Gen Front Swaybar
2nd Gen Rear Swaybar
