Dr. Performance
they are kinda new and emerging but have been around a while too.
I know some guys that run them and LOVE them because they claim to literally see a 2mpg increase.
Power isn't up to par with other companies generally and most of the boxes are just pressure boxes; pressure is a controversial issure concerning injectors.
I would spend my $ elsewhere.

I have the Dr.Performance Stage ll on my truck now(85hp/190tq) and I enjoy it for what it is. It literally can be unplugged and reinstalled in less then 20 seconds, doesen't throw any codes or problems and i've seen a solid 1+mpg gain when im not smashing the skinny pedal.
Im actually looking at a different box at the moment.

yea they are big in western texas...they are out of the fort worth area i believe.
I know a guy with their injectors and he loves them....but i assumed the general context here was modules as it usually is. I have a cell phone number for some guy that owns or works for Dr. Performance. i'll give it out as long as no one says where they got it

I guess pressure box mixed with their sticks might work better reliability wise than a pressure box and stock injectors. They might actually design them to work together.
The 2003 box will not work on the 2006. If the box has a little black wire, with a square plug on the end, it can be reporgrammed to fit the 2006. I don't know if they charge a fee for that or not. Call and find out.
I have a friend that switched from his bully dog/ez stack to the Stage III in an '05 six speed. When comparing the two the bullydog (without the ez stack) had better 1-4 gear power but the DR Box killed it in 5th and 6th. The DR box ran WAY cooler than the Bullydog. He downloaded the Crazy Larry for the Bullydog, tested again and the power is very close. The Bullydog still runs way hotter on EGT. He chose the Dr box over the Bullydog. Now he is running a set of Dr's Stage III injectors with the Stage III box and the truck flat rips!! He also runs 5" exhaust, intake manifold and a cold air unit.
My brother runs a Stage III box on a 04.5 and loves it. He also saw a 2mpg increase in mileage.
My father has a 2002, 1 ton six speed and runs the Stage II box on it. He pulls HUGE loads with it. Even stock the truck EGT's would get a little warm. We put the Stage II box on, an air intake and 4" exhaust off an '05 Dodge (buy a kit it was a bugger to get in). The truck pulls awesome and the EGT's won't get over 1325 with a MONSTER load. This is also at 5200' elevation so that has an effect on EGT's and power.
I run a Stage II on a 2003 with a 48RE. It did get a solid 2mpg on the highway. The power is perfect for towing. It feels like it will be relatively safe for the tranny if I keep my head out of my butt.
The plugs on the box can be installed backward so be careful. The truck will idle rough and turn on the CEL. The CEL clears itself after a few restarts. This doesn't seem to hurt anything but, it can be done. Pay close attention on installation. Please don't ask me how I know this.
I have read quite a bit about them. They had issues in their early years but, they seem to be growing into a very solid company. I believe their old reputation still follows them a little bit. I do know they stand behind their 30 day trial period. I know several more people that run their stuff and nobody has had any issues. One guy with an 06 was having a check engine issue but it turned out to be the truck not the module. When I buy another truck it will have DR products on it.
PM me if you have more questions.
