I recommend the Bully Dog Triple Dog. I've had both on my truck (BullyDog and Smarty) and they both make decent power by themselves. The major differences are features and price. The Triple Dog has more than twice the user customizable features and is half the price. That part is nice. The Triple Dog will change programs on the fly (at a 70mph cruise if you like) without having to stop and reprogram the truck. If you have their Outlook Monitor (digital gauges), you can change the program (from stock to wild) just by hitting a button on your gauge. It is like having a programmer with no part count under the hood to fail, that is an adjustable box controllable at your fingertips. No re-programming to change programs. Did I say that enough? No re-programming. That is priceless in a programmer…..at least for me. Some folks don’t care about that. They also have a program coming out soon that will let you raise the RPM limiter incrementally to whatever you like (to a point).

 

I have never had a smarty,,,BUT i have had Supper junk.and the Diablo is 10 times better...my buddy has the Edge w/juse and my truck blows his doors off (same year and set up truck!)

I haven't had any other programmers other than the Smarty and I'm very impressed with. Not too mention the customer service on this site is fantastic.

if urs is a 305hp try a predator,they are half the price of a smarty and the custom tunes are awsome.they make stakable tunes for presure boxes.the diagnostics features are awsome too.there are some in the classifieds here.
