Does a edge juice have to be programmed for your axle ratio? I have a 2004.5 dodge ram 5.9 cummins.(325 HP) Is mine the HO 600 series engine? anywyas can i just buy any edge juice attitude for my 2004.5 ram? is it ok to buy a used one? Do any edge juices accept internet updates and have turbo cool down mode?

 

no, its readout is based on tire RPMs, rear end ratio would only affect the speedo in the dash.

it has to be for the 04-05 HO engine, not just any one will work.

no, you have to mail it to Edge for any updates. if you get one that is an outdated version they will update it for free.

Im pretty sure if you sent it in the newer version has the turbo cool down. Mine came with it so Im sure they have it in an update

 

Actually, the answer to this one should be "Yes"...there is an option in the Attitude that wants to know whether or not you have 4.10s or 3.73s...I could definitely tell a difference when I switched between the two...my defueling was all jacked up, etc...I would set it to whatever gears you have.

 

it's been a while, don't ever remember seeing that parameter.

i got one on my truck which is the same as yours, the turbo timer is a upgrade and have to pay edge $50 for it.. when i sent in my edge w/attitude that was a version 1.0 , i got a 3.1 back.. but no turbo timer, you have to pay for the turbo timer upgrade.

never seen the parameter for different axle ratio in the setup.
