Anyone running an DNA Muffler (Direct Natural Airflow mufflers) web site www.dnamuffler.com. The tone is stated to be real low.

 

You need to add an "s" to that link. I listened to the sound clips and it sounds really good. It's an interesting design too. Don't know if it will increase any hp or decrease egt over a straight pipe though.

 

With the present responses, it appears that there is very few to next none you have used the DNA muffler. There is a sound track on the web site so there must have been at least one built. www.dnamufflers.com

 

I've put one on mine (2005 2500) It sounds great, not much louder than stock until you punch it. Nice deep tone at idle.

Build quality is excellent. I picked up a muffler delete pipe from RPM Outlet and chopped it down to transition the muffler to the tailpipe. To give a little extra support I welded a seat belt tab on the side of the muffler in order to use the factory hanger on the frame.

If you pick one up I don't think you will be disapointed.

just bought one at jegs 149.99 looks great havnt installed yet but was looking at it, the delete pipe is a good idea thanks!

 

At the trade show last year I took a ride in the reps truck. Very quiet at idle could even go through a drive through without shutting off the truck.

I haven't towed anything with it on yet so I can't say on the drone.

I've also done extensive sound deadening throughout the truck (all of the interior has been taken out twice to put vibration mats and foam down, a third time will be done this summer) so I don't know if I could accurately tell you are not.
