discount tire action - 20's

went to discount tire today....got one heck of a good offer. 20inch eagle series 114, 10 inch wide 150 each and nitto 305/55/20 (forget the tire price). they said the wheels had been around for awhile so he cut the price in half. anyways, they mounted them on my truck so I could take a look, absolutely gorgeous. they stuck out to much though, AND...

when I turned the wheel they rubbed to much on the front bumper and the mudflap...but I may just take the mud flap off

really cool of them to do that...but when your spending the money I feel like they should. I'll most likely go back and give them the business.

I'm looking at either....

20 x 8.5 on 305/55/20 nitto terra grapplers A/T 32" backspacing of only 4.65 vs 6.1 of stock and -1mm offset vs 40mm 3,420lb load rating

OR

18 x 9.5 on 285/65/18 bf goodrich A/T 32.59"
only 6 inch backspacing (getting closer) and +22mm offset 3,420lb load rating.

the guys at discount tires were very helpful but I need your expertise. never could I afford the weld's...sweet idea though

thanks for you help as I've gotta get this done right. pics to come soon.

get the 18x9.5. The 6" backspce will be perfect with 285's.

I know there's some more eagle owners out there!

it's a shame that weld charges soooo much for their wheels
