DiPricol Optix Gauges.....

Planning on purchasing these gauges (Package deal) shortly from Diesel Manor but have some questions.....
- Can I use the boost bolt on a 06? I see instructions on site but only see it goes up to 04...
- Where can I find a steel hose for transmission sender unit...hose that I can install transmission sender unit on (correct termology??)
- What is best/easiet A-piller to install on a 06?
-Anybody have a cheat sheet on what wires they "tapped" in for dim and key on/off?

One last thing....any words of wisdom during install you guys can share? Im trying to save some money and do the install myself.

Thanks in advance!!

TJ

Not sure about the 06... I have an 05 But it sure made things easier when I pulled out the plastic inner fender well... Lots of room and you can drill the manifold from the wheel well.. I was able to fit an 18 volt Dewalt drill in there..

The gauge kit from Diesel Manor comes with a very well laid out installation manual. I believe they also sell the adapter for the transmission gauge. You can always phone or email Dave Murphy at Diesel Manor and ask him wat you need. He will tell you with no bs what you need and if he can supply it. You really can't go wrong with Diesel Manor in my opinion.

Go ahead and invest in the Optix wiring harness, that way you will have the built in dimmers for each gauge. We strongly suggest adding it in due to the LED's being so bright. Just a thought so you will have a complete deal!

I was planning on purchasing the wire harness. I did not realize the dimmer switches were built in. But don't I have to splice the wire harness dimmer into the dash dimmer switch? If not, how does the gauges dim?

Disregard last post......

I just read the instructions for the wire harness install on Diesel Manor websites. Apologize for asking questions before doing the research!!

Check with Diesel Manor for the Hot line with the Transmission sensor port. It is around 60 dollars or so.
