Since it seems the thinking is DC will void your warranty with certain aftermarket mods. And it seems that they have the ability to see in your memory of your computer if you have had any kind of boxes or chips or the such. Please correct me if I am wrong I am just learning all this. My question is what about a guy like me who bought a 2 year old truck with 21,000 miles on it. What if the guy before me had something installed then removed it and I have something go wrong that ends up not being covered. Any thoughts on this???

 

sure,,theyll void it if they can........even if a warranty is transferrable,it still has the same stipulations as it always did.......that would suck though for you,,,,,,,,bama

 

If you bought it at a dealership and they represented it as still having a warranty, then you would have a lawsuit on your hands... Sucks, but you'd have to prove you didn't void the warranty.
