so where is the cheapest place to get the predator? i have found it on a couple of different sites for about $400.00. is this about as cheap as they get or am i not looking hard enough?

 

I got mine from concoursdirect.com - $320 shipped. They sell first quality, latest revision goods. Some place has the stack for $380. I'd check out their merchandise realy good first! Craig

 

I know you want the diablo and stuff, and the predator is a really good chip, however, I got a smarty, and I love it. My friends dad has a Diablo in his red 04.5 DRW and they both make really good power, I run my Smarty on the 5 setting ( 90+ Timing.) The 30 HP setting is pretty responsive as well, you were saying adjustability for later on when you get more mods and stuff, I just think you have a lot of options. The Diablo is a really good chip though. I'd get it, either that or the Quad race box...if you Dont want to spend the $ on a smarty. I didnt want to, but I do not regret it at all. AT ALL.

 

I have had nothing but trouble out of Diablo ! Chevys and Dodges gave me problems! I had a chevy loose the ecm and had to use tech 2 to reprogram the truck!

The guy also told me that there were scammers out there, but this place was not one of them.

There is a seller on e-bay (bd performance) that sells the Diablo stack for $480.00 or best offer with free shipping. I offered $380 & recieved it within 4 days. GREAT product and service from the seller!!

 

I run the Diablo on Performance. On extreme I'd peg the egt guage at 1600 very, very quickly... And lotsa smoke... if you're into that sorta thing...
I can't wait to get my Silver62 and see if I can keep the temp down on extreme and really have some fun...

 

trik, I have the silver 62 and I have no egt problems, both with and without the hot edge. You will LOVE that turbo
