Diablo predator stack questions

As you can see in my sig I have the juice, which is away getting upgraded to the hot. I am testing a diablo predator right now, kind of wondering how these will work together, and I was also noticing that diablo has a pre made stack with the power puck,, anyone using that??

I am I am!!!! You getting tired of me yet? Best to run it in that tune, cause it cuts the timming a bit, and adds more duration. Stacks well with the Juice I have! Of course you allready know that don't you?

lol,, yep,, I think that the diablo is way better than the power pup, and the triple dog, (which i tested over the weekend) good to talk to you again

One of the things I noticed when I first installed was there was about 15 maybe 20 minutes of driving before I really noticed a big difference after loading the predator. That only happened the first time.

I began running the juice on level 1 and then stepped up each level after -running for 5 minutes or so. Predator on 3 and juice on 4 and 5 is mean. IMHO I dont think there is much difference between the 4-5 while stacked. I have noticed that my EGT runs 75-100 degrees hotter with the Predator. Instead of 600 to 675 at 70-75mph it is hitting 625 to 725. I loaded the tow setting last friday to pull a trailer and while I was going to get it, I cruised at 75 and my EGT spiked at 653. Did my business with trailer. Unhooked and loaded level 3 up. Cruised at 75 - EGT spiked at 705. Same road -relatively flat. Maybe a head wind? I dont know.

I really like it. I have worked the two together pretty hard and no problems. I bet you will like it.

I am sure impressed with the diablo so far just running it by itself, awesome power and lots of coal. Cant wait for the edge to get back. IMO it makes the triple dog look like second rate. My tranny shifts so nice since I took off the triple dog and the acceleration is close to double, and I dont even have a boost fooler on there right now

Just be sure and try the Diablo "Hot" tune when you get it. You can either go to a custom Diablo authorized tuner, or you need to call and ask for it specificly and they will email it to you. I have mine on the laptop as we speak, but can't play with it for couple weeks as I'm at work away from home. Everyone who is comparing this with the others have yet to try the custom tunes yet, so I'm curious as to what gains it will provide.

I can't. They need the calibration ID from each individual tuner i think. It's supposed to be 200hp on the reg. "hot" custom tune. The one they worked over for me though is the special cutom tune with added rail pressure for bottom end performance, so they suspect the one I have is about 250hp+. Of course, for all I know they could have just sent me the normal program and just simply told me they did the cutom set-up I wanted and ordered. We'll see.

I see,,, so how do you go about this process, I have been looking at the site, and dont find it really all that good, or maybe I just need sleep, lol,, Are you going to be running this "hot" tune with the edge? Another question, doest the diablo do boost fooling?

Don't know bout the boost fooling, but prob, cause it would be easy to do on a downloader. Just make the ECM raise it's boost limits. The site is a little vague. Call tech support, and tell them what you want. Ask for Mike. May take awhile to get someone on the phone, but they are the most helpfull tech guys I've ever talked with bout this stuff. They are genuinely out to improve they're product all the time, and do it for free!!!!

That is the #1 reason I will never buy Bully Dog again, cause when they came out with the Tripple Dog about 6months after I bougt the Power Pup, they abandoned the R&D for it and threw everything they had behind the TD. I called them just a week ago to see if they have a revission for problems they say they know they have, and still nothing!!!! no updates.

The prob I allways had is the on-off feel of the throttle and bad surging using cruise control when extreme or perf tunes were downloaded. When I 1st got that thing, I called and they said they were aware of this and were working it out. Few months later, there answer was to just buy the Tripple Dog.

And guess what,, those problems are still there with the triple dog,, I was so unhappy with it. I am sure glad it was a loaner and I didnt buy it, cause I probably would have to go and shoot myself. I think that the people that like these units have not ever tried anything else, cause man now that I have had a chance to try a few different boxes,, they dont cut it IMHO
