Converting to a dually

Ok, maybe finals week here has goten me a little crazy (or maybe its the extreme lack of sleep im getting?). I'm kind wondering if i should convert my truck to a single cab short bed(mega cab style) I'm going to do some photo shoping in the next few days, what do you guys think? Anyone have a source where i can find a mega cab bed?

They dont make a short bed dually in anything but the mega cab, and it has a different look then the regular dually beds.

Why not a srw short bed regular cab? That would be fast on the track!

I'm contemplating that as well actually, along with just putting mega cab fenders on my long bed and making it a dually. Need to see some photo shoping first though.

Yea, but these are meant for towing and stuff like that. Dodge doesn't really care about the guys wanting trucks to go fast, they want you to buy a $$ SRT-10.

He was meaning why not make one, you know chop the frame and get a shortbed for it. Dodge doesnt make them because they probably wouldnt sell very well, not because they dont want you to go fast(besides is any stock diesel fast??)

Thanks for the link budsowner

I have always thought the Mega Cab dually fenders would look good on a regular cab long bed. Kinda like the 1st gen duallys. The only thing you really have to contend with is the drivers side fender having the recess for the fuel door.

Got these fenders on my truck will have picture soon. FYI they were a little difficult bodywork and painting.

It's something different, but it would look really really odd as a daily driver.
