Confused about Programers
Confused about Programers
I had an 05 6-spd with a Dr Performance 2017 85hp and 170 torque and like the power it gave. Dr Performance claims that they don't raise egt's or overfuel. I now have an 07 5.9 6-spd and my questions is which programer is the best for moderate gains in hp and torque? As far as I know Dr Performance is the only one that claims that they don't hurt the engine and raise egt's and etc but none of you guys use them. The also talk about fuel pluming and was wondering is that what the other programers do also? I'm just looking for 25-75 hp gain and a 70-100 gain in torque and confused of what would be good for my truck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks
Mads Electronics products have many happy customer's.
I'm not familiar with Dr. P products, so I have no insight on them.
I don't think any performance enhancing module or programmer is 100% safe for your engine.
