Commander problem?
I put in my Commander and my X-Raider a week ago and just started to have a little problem. A couple of times today while driving along not doing anything out of the norm, my Trans and Water temp #'s started to climb and drop rapidly. The display would go from 189* to 220* back to 170* and so on. Then it would stop and work normally. I tried to see if my connections were loose but they were not. Then I tried to see if it was speed or throttle position sensitive but also nothing worked. I sure would hate to loose this thing for a while but hopefully someone will say that it will go away....

I would bet money that the tap on the coolant is loose and while driving it loosing connection for split second.
The secret to the taps are, when you put them on to make sure you have everything lined up and once you complete the tap do not twist, turn or pull on it. If you do that they work very good. If you go messing with them an twisting them to install the wire then this same issue is more prone to happening.
