Installed my Commander today, what breeze!

Most head scratching moments - to find exactly where to place the drill bit for the pyro' then actually drilling the manifold.
Then layng out the harness in the manner it was designed.

Verdict: I like it alot.

The custom pillar mount gives it a true custom look.

Compared to the Outlook, the screen is huge!

Ease of installation - 9 out of ten.

Good investment.

 

I am very happy with mine. And Quad has some of the best customer service out there.

 

Does it have a trany slip display?

 

Not that I know of, but just got mine - still playing.

 

I helped a guy put one in a truck this weekend and I thought it was pretty slick, easy instilation and nice read out. The only thing I didn't like was some of the harness is way too long and some just barely long enough.

 

I am thinking about going to one of these. Would it be possible to get some pictures of where you mounted the screen?

 

wegotlabs just spend the 70 bucks or so and but the pillar mount well worth it . looks factory and you dont have to drill the dash to mount it ! its great wife even likes it !!lol well worth the beans for it !!
