Yeah, I couldnt see when I was waxing in the shade to wipe the excess off...

I didnt wax the roof at all
BUT thats because in doing the clearance lights soon and didnt want to clean any wax off for a good seal

Nah, but the highest D rating I could find... 3300 I believe...

Now, looking at other tire options earlier I came across some goodyear 37s with a E rating at 4,000lbs maybe those will be my next tire....

Tires

How do you like those tires? I have the same ones with 16k on them and I may get another 5 or 6 out of them. I like the tire but they're wearing really bad. The bad thing about it is that I'm babying them big time. I had bfg 315's last 31k and I worked those hard. This is with no towing either. I'll never buy another set.

Ive only got maybe 1k miles on them so far, so its too soon to tell...

I like how they ride though, smoother, but no loss in handling or sidewall flex...
The only problem I had with them was a bulge in one of the sidewalls, seperated between plys but I just ran up to Discount and they warrantied the tire and I got a new one. The guy and DT said that was only the second one hes seen in the years hes worked there...

Ill keep an eye on how they ware though, so 20k is about all youre going to get out of yours? There were a few guys claiming 30-40k out of a set, but ill just have to wait and see....

Looks good!

I love the look of these trucks w/o nerf bars, but isn't it a pain in the asphalt to climb in and out of it like that?

Ya...I've seen post about how long these tires would last too and how long bfg's would last. I've never seen the miles out of a set that some of these guys have seen. I hope you have better luck then I did. They have a 40k tread life warranty on them so maybe I'll get some money off on my next set. By the way, your truck looks good. I live near Houston, but I bought my truck at Rockwall Dodge. One of my best friends was the finance manager there for a while and gave me a great deal on my truck. Anyways good luck.

Yeah, its too soon for me to tell how these are going to ware, they do feel soft though, which is guess if great for ride quality, but will deffinantly hurt the mileage...
