Cheetah Turbos

I am sure some of you have seen Fleece Performance's 05 Dodge on youtube with the VNT cheetah turbo on it. If not check it out it sounds sweet! I was wondering if they are selling this turbo yet? Anybody know the specs to this turbo?

Last I heard the turbos is still in beta testing. I believe someone over on the cumminsforum is testing the Cheetah. No info on the cost but I imagine it will be expensive.

I heard they are going to be around 2000.00, not too bad if they're dependable IMO.

The duramax cheetah turbo is $2250 so I can imagine something along those lines. I believe a boost controller is needed, not sure if it will be supplied for the price given or if you'll have to fork out more money...

This is what the owner say

I'm not a vendor here so I don't know if posting pricing is OK or not, but I'm looking at roughly 4000.00 for the kit.

The turbo, 2nd gen T4 manifold, TurboBrake Controller, Intercooler pipe, and downpipe are included.

IF you price out an exhaust brake and turbo upgrade you're probably very close to that price without the adjustability and the lack of "twinability" I made that word up.

I don't think it will be 4K that would be way too much. But you never know, Fleece Performance is really popular right now. Did you see all those Fleece stickers on all the trucks at Scheid. I am thinking around 2K. I don't know much about boost controllers, what exactly does it do and how does it help you? ould you have to mess with it driving normal? I know it controls the variable nozzle, but why does it not do it for you?

There was a post on another forum talking about the controller. From what I can remember you can put the controller in automatic. Move it from that position and you'll get more boost, braking or an open turbine and everything in between. Do a search I'm pretty certain the original poster provided links and a description.

Considering it can provide braking it would be a good deal. If you could interface it with the ECM braking control and make braking automatic it would be even better.

I was told around $4000 by Fleece a few weeks ago. The controller is the brains or computer for the turbo. It's not cheap but sounds wicked.
