CFM issue Please help

So i bought a CFM from a guy and he didnt give me the hardware to connect it , ie the bolts to mount it to the engine, with out the bolts it can not be installed properly. does anyone know of a place to get the same bolts or similar ones. i tried calling CFM direct and they dont sell just the hardware, i checked a home depot and a local hardware store, the hardware store had a completely threaded bolt that was slightly longer that the original, will that work??? any help on this would be great guys thanks

https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...ght=cfm+intake

here is a thread so you can see what the correct bolts look like i only have oem stuff

There has to be somewhere. I haven't seen them in person, but I can't imagine a complet threaded rod wouldn't work. I could be wrong though.

but on another note, them not selling the hardware is crazy. What happens when you loose one? I would call again and ask for somebody else.

The reason CFM gave me for not selling the hardware only is that a shipment of intakes was "lost" and that if they sold the hardware only they are in effect allowing the lost or stolen intakes to be installed

The threaded bolt will work.
Grind off or cut off excess.

You can get studs in different lengths from any fastener supply shop.

I bought from a friend that Purchased it new and had bill of sale had just lost one of the studs after he had taken it off and when I inquried about purchasing a new stud is when I had the problem and just got kinda irritated at the way I was treated when I just inquired about purchasing new studs so went out on my own since I had worked in the fastener business and knew of other sources for the studs.
