Can someone give me some info about stock 04.5 and up Exhaust Elbow
Can someone give me some info about stock 04.5 and up Exhaust Elbow
Anyone have any pics of one? I'm looking for where it attaches to the turbo, as well as some measurements of the ring where the clamp goes.
I'm going to be putting on a new turbo and I want to figure out if I can use the stock elbow instead of a new downpipe.
Thanks in Advance

You can reuse your stock elbow and downpipe. You will have to cut the little pins off that position it in the stock turbo though. Aftermarket turbos do not have the little alignment holes drilled in them...
The turbo elbow is a short piece that connects the turbo to the down pipe. You have to have a turbo built for your year model truck, you'll have to get different parts...

The left side is the exhaust housing where the elbow bolts to.

I didn't mean to make it sound like I needed to know where it went, I know where it is and where it goes etc.
I am trying to figure out ahead of time if my stock elbow will mount up to the turbo I am going to be putting on. ( Edge Jammer BB)
They include a down pipe, but I would rather use the factory elbow.
I just need to know the measurements of the stock elbow or turbo for that matter, the width and diameter of the V-Band flange.
It looks to me like it will mount up
Thanks

I had an HTB2 turbo on my 07 and the elbow bolted directly to the new turbo outlet except that the pins had to be knocked off. One thing I did have to do was push the whole exhaust back about 3/4" because the aftermarket turbos are usually a bit longer. Sorry I don't have any pics or measurements...
