I am running linex, it is ok imo. I have several gouges, which is understandable, but what makes me mad is how badly it has faded. Which is a real problem seeing as my truck is black. Unfortunately there isnt much I can do about it.

53 ******,

Ask and you shall receive... Here's some quick pics I had lying around of my color-matched Line-X Xtra Over-the-Rail bedliner. The logo's don't show up quite as well in these pictures, but as you can see the color-match is awesome (color looks even closer than in these photos when under bright sunlight). There's a Cummins C on the bulkhead and a Ram's head on the bed floor. I hope the attachements display, as this is my first attempt at posting photos.

Wow, that looks great! I might have to look into that Line-X Xtra for my rocker panels, instead of Durabak. Of course last time I got a quote of something like $750 for Line-X rocker panels.

I had my bed, rockers, and flares Xtreme Lined for $599.50 w/tax.... Just had it for about three weeks, but I'm very pleased with it. The weather's been kinda crappy around here, so I apologize for the poor pictures. It's either cloudy and my truck's clean, or sunny and my truck's a big mud ball!! Right now it's completely mud covered halfway down. I'll try to get some good pics in my gallery soon.... Hope this helps:

Wow! strailey, that looks awesome!!
I had black line-X done on my bed yesterday I love it. I had it on my 01 and it faded a little but not to bad. I heard Rhino is the worst for fading, but I have never had Rhino my self.

No that price was for both but I decided black on black with liner would not look good, to me anyway.

My truck is kinda dirty but I will try and get some pics up, I need some in my gallery anyway.

vortex sprayliners

I spray vortex sprayliners, However all the bedliner companys now use a uv stable product. If they dont they will offer a coating to top coat with. I personaly charge $400 to spray the rockers on a short bed and $450 for a long bed. A good sprayliner dealer in this day and age should offer every color of the rainbow and be able to spray anything. If they dont then they are lazy. The product are all very simular so failures are due to the lack of preperation, Not the product itself.

Hope this helps.

When I had LineX shot in my truck last week, I asked the dealer how you could take the gray faded look out of the LineX. He told me it was soap from car washes that caused the faded look and that the only way to remove it and "revive" the black was to use a power washer with plain water only.
He said the proper way to clean LineX was with clear water and a stiff brush, no soap.

I have rarely washed my box with soap,, and I have tried using the powerwasher with just water,, I am fairly sure that it is due to sunlight

JMalone, that looks **** good to me. I may still get mine done but $350 a side seemed steep to me. I used the stainless rocker panels on my 2000 and they worked out OK. But I definitely think your set up is better!
It'll keep those rocker panels from getting all beat to hell from gravel!

i use a product called "dominion sure seal" they make all kinds of stuff , but the product mostly is there clear gravel guard , i apply it with a "shultz" gun with about 60psi . doewsnt yellow, is great for rockers/ beds, whatever you wanna do. i go over with 600paper for tooth , mask my edges, and run poly film over the rest of the truck. then spray till i have the thickness i want and pull the tape before it sets up. you could probally do an entire truck body for $400.00.

I know this thread was about fenders but I thought I would throw a shot of my fresh line-x in anyway.
