Cab light install ????

Where do I place the template and how far back does it go??? Looking from the instructions you place the front arrows pointing at the line onthe front of the window and then center the lights... From that point it looks like the center light will be drilled through the overhead light??? Should it go back farther can anyone with a cab light kit install go out and measure how far back the lights are from the glass???

Thanks Shane..

Got everything ready to go I just need to know exactly where i need to drill... Also how deep do I need to drill so I can set a depth on the bit..

I'm in the same boat. I got a set for Christmas. Just got to put them on. I just hope I drill the holes right on. Don't want to goof on a new truck.

I know on mine that when I pulled my headliner down ther were five mounts under that, that are from the factory. All that I had to do was center my drill in the holes and that was that. Pretty simple.

Decent write-up, wrong generation of truck. Also you don't have to take the headliner all the down and the wiring is in the passenger side pillar. Good info though. I think when I do mine I'll take pictures as I install them and try to do a good write-up to help future installers.
