Bug Defelctor
Bug Defelctor
Any secrets on attaching the dodge bug deflectors? I put one on with the two eye brows for the 2004 3500, and lost the large bug deflector in a car wash today. Never had a problem on the old Dakota, but perhaps the difference in height makes it more of a problem.
I'll be looking for some better mounting hardware next time. The truck behind me drove over the deflector, so I'll have to replace the almond colored deflector. **** plastic connections.

deflector
Personally I've driven through dozens of car washes of every discription and never have had a problem. You might want to look at a factory install to see if you did something wrong or if they used different hardware.
Bug Deflector.
I lost my factory installed deflector in a car wash. Don't miss it and I traded with the company for $200 of car washes, not bad as I believe it was a $90 option when I bought the truck.
p.s. lots of bugs in the SW and Mexico and I have not noticed any difference on the windscreen.
