Im going to buy a Intake kit today and im leaning towards the bruteforce intake by AEM. I want a good sounding intake and loud. Is this intake ok for my truck or is it a waste of money. PS im not going to do a lot more upgrades

 

love the brute! would like to try the workhorse though. just more $

 

will it sing to me if i take the silencer ring out?

 

I have the Workhorse and its great. Worth the extra $$. A few more horses and torque than the bruteforce and sounds sweet with the silencer removed. Here's a link to my install with pics.https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...=aem+workhorse

 

AFE Stage 2 on mine. Took the silencer ring out and it's loud.
