Boost XZT VA3.2

I put the Van Aaken C3.2 on the truck about a week ago and have a question. Shouldn't the XZT allow boost to get over 32psi? Now with the switch on the va, truck goes faster, boost climbs to 32 quick then stays there and hisses. Even in the "off" position, the new box makes a little smoke at shifts and builds boost faster.

The VA has a boost fooler built in already. So does the XZT. Maybe something isn't working properly?

There is a XZT that is for stacking. I believe the reflashed XZT is pressure only.

Lets hope Quad responds with a better explanation.

You don't need the stack version for use with the VA3.2

They should both actually allow boost to go over 32 psi. In this instance it will really be the VA box that does the true fooling as it is last in line to the ECM.

How are you measuring boost? or should I say what are you using?

I always thought the VA 3.2 was duration only and nothing else. Are you sure it does boost fooling as well? Not doubting just not what VA told me.

On their site it specifically mentions boost fooling for the 3.2

I have the Westac boost/egt combo gauge that reads 0-35psi. The boxes wouldn't cancel each other out, would they?

Mine does the same thing. My lift pump can't keep up. Throw another pump on it and I bet your problem goes away.

I do need a lift pump and will get one shortly, but I don't think it's the problem now. I've only run the VA on high a couple times and I felt what happens when it runs out of fuel. This is different, and it happens with the box in all three positions always hisses at 32psi, but seems like there's still plenty of fuel, just air pressure stops rising at that point.

The light on the xzt box goes green, orange, orange, green, then goes to red and stays on. Is this the correct sequence? What else can I check to see if boost fooling is working. Also what is stock wastegate set at?
